Blossoming Romance

You and your Retro bike, sitting in a tree. S-I-G-H-T-S-E-E-I-N-G. First comes love, then comes Prague, then comes adventures you’ll share in your blog (or with a dog, because as you’ll soon see, Czechs sure love ‘em!).

Using your imaginary guide (aka: the highlighted map we’ve provided), you’ll get to know the Czech’s beloved places and spaces in Prague while getting a major dose of local life and culture. For instance, you may have heard that Czechs have a particular fondness for the outdoors, beer and sausages? Well, you’ll be enjoying beautiful parks, beer gardens, tasty food-on-the-go just like a local on this tour!

Follow our recommended path and you’ll be professing your undying love for Prague at the day’s end!

Quick Tips:

  • In route to Riegrovy sady: stop by Náměstí Míru and grab the best hot dog in town.
  • At Letná Park, grab a beer, relax, and savor the view (and your pivo).

The Market Ride

If you are up for a lazyish weekend listen up! Get on your retro bike (which includes a basket –you’ll find out why it will come in handy in a second) & check your map & get ready for a tasty adventure. That’s right, we’re heading to the market!

As your guides to the local we are here to help you with the frequently asked questions… one of them being:
“Where do we get fresh groceries?” In the past few years, Prague has seen a reemergence of markets – nowadays, they offer a variety of fresh produce & you can find one in almost every part of the city.

One of our personal favorites is the Farmers’ Market right by the river. Here you’ll be able to soak in the friendly atmosphere while picking out some organic apples. The unique view of the castle adds to the pleasant vibe.

Feed the Swans

Prague and Vltava go together like Vienna and Danube or London and the Thames. It’s hard to imagine one without the other. Which is why we suggest that after you’ve seen Prague’s must-sees, you should explore the river too! Pedal along the cycling path towards a little place called Braník, encountering all kinds of merry adventures along the way….

Pass under the old stone bridge at Vyšehrad, pedal by and say hi to the local fishermen, pit stop for Kofola colas and sausages, ride past Žluté lázně (the place for outdoor fun), whirl past the juxtapose of graffiti and green, make friends with the locals who have all come to do the same.

Our favorite part of this journey is taking breaks to feed the swans, watching them float ever-so-peacefully up and down the river. You can share the moment with the locals who often come here to hang out, listen to live music and enjoy the vibe of this place.
