Walking tours

Our walking tours could be simply described as authentic. Not only do we have guides that are local, but they are people that study, work and are passionate about the specific field of interest we are presenting to you. Just name it  ... Spray Can Stories? It is not just a guide; it is the graffiti artist herself. For the Hot Prague Jog you don’t run with just anybody but with a professional runner. We let you read and hear about Kafka from a literature and history lover. Our walking tours are shown from the point of view of people who actually care about the topic at hand.

Beer Puzzle

Beer Puzzle

Prague, as well as the whole Czech Republic, is famous for its beer. Our love of beer goes as far as it being cheaper than water (most of the time). We have a different way of introducing you to our nation’s treasure – the Beer Puzzle!

On our Beer Puzzle tour, we’ve prepared an agenda fit for the beer gods, visiting some of the best watering holes in the city and introducing you to our nation’s treasure.

• The first stop: You’ll discover all there is to know about the celebrated Czech beer, Pilsner Urquell.

• A hop, skip and a jump away brings us to our second stop: Brewery U Fleků, where we’ll belly up to the large wooden tables and guzzle mugs of 15°brown bear OOPS beer.

• Stop three: U Medvídků, famous for their ice cream made from...you guessed it, BEER! Bet you never had that as a kid! It’s also one of the largest and oldest beer halls in Prague and lest we mention, home to the world’s strongest beer!

• Put your beer taste buds to the test at our final destination: the New Town Brewery. Think you can taste the difference between banana and caramel beer?

Walk (or stumble) away with new beer knowledge, new friends, and a few new Czech phrases up your sleeve (for example, “Ještě jedno pivo!” and “Na zdraví!”).

So put your beer goggles on!

Who says art has to fit a certain category? In Czech Republic, it could be Mucha’s posters…or it could be one of our personal favorites: graffiti. Gritty, authentic, original and ever-changing, the graffiti of Prague is ultra-tour worthy.

Explore the raw creative energy that splashes the city and defines the street art of Prague. We’ll take you to the familiar and the hidden artwork, where you can learn a bit about history through the color and enjoy alternative parts of the city. As a super bonus, you’ll have the chance to meet some of the artists themselves and hear about their masterpieces!

Water o’clock

What time is it? Time to get excited, folks! Simple as the tour name, we’ve got two things on this agenda: Prague’s most famous clock and the flowing Vltava waters (goggles and flippers optional).

Starting in the historic Old Town Square, we’ll spend most of our time marveling and learning about the astronomical clock. For instance, did you know it was constructed in 1410 making it the third oldest clock in the world and the oldest one still working? You’ll also get to see the stars of the clock’s ceremony, the 12 wooden Apostles, doing their thing.

Next, we’ll head to the river to soak in the waters—okay, so not literally, but close! Sit back, relax, and lose track of time as you float down the Vltava River, enjoying incredible views of the city from your jazzed-up old boat. Hang with the fish and glide along Prague’s Venice departing from and returning to the Charles Bridge.

Set your watches for Water O’clock. AHOJ!

With a film resume including Mission: Impossible, Bourne Identity, Les Misérables, and The Illusionist, Prague is no stranger to the big screen. It’s easy to see why…it’s one of the most picturesque cities in the world!

On this tour, you’ll be stepping into the camera lens and exploring the Golden City from the actor’s perspective. Wander Brad Pitt’s path, stand at the river where Tom Cruise dove from heights, visit the charming locale for The Prince & Me and discover many a more of Prague’s movie sites as you’re touring the city with your film-savvy guide.

Get your pens and diaries out (autographs), comfy shoes on (in case you have to run), and cameras ready (there will be lots of pictures happening, so maybe comb your hair too before you go!). But most importantly be ready to fully enjoy this FABULOUS tour.

Dancing on Rooftops

Dancing on Rooftops

On this spectacular above-the-city-tour, experience Prague and the surrounding Czech lands from great heights (and by great heights, we mean really great heights). We’ll take you atop the rooftops and above the crowds visiting three unique destinations in the city. If the way up doesn’t take your breath away, the views most certainly will!

• Start with the furnicular ride to the top of the beautiful Petrin Park to Petřín Tower, known as Prague’s „Eiffel Tour“. Trek to the top of the tower, counting the stairs just as the Czechs do, and once at the top, take in stunning views of Prague’s 100 spires and the surrounding countryside. Just how many stairs are there to the top, you ask? Let’s just say it’ll be reward enough for last night‘s plate of Czech dumplings and the incredible views which await!

• Our next stopping point, the Charles Bridge, is quite a familiar one…from the ground that is. On this tour, we’ll tower serenely above it from the old Gothic Tower, set between the Charles Bridge and the entrance to the Old Town. Climb a few stairs (138, to be exact) to the tower lookout where you’ll be met with majestic views of the Charles Bridge, the Vltava River, Old Town, Prague castle, and the Lesser Town.

• It may have been called one of the ugliest structures in town, but we secretly love it (especially David Černý’s crawling babies). Relish in the incredible panoramic views of Prague and far beyond from the city’s highest structure, Žižkov Tower. While you’re up, look straight down 328 feet (eek!) to the edgy and cool Zizkov neighborhood, visit the unique Prague soundscapes exhibition to listen to the hum of the city below--the flowing Vltava River, the chimes of the Astronomical Clock, the trams along their tracks--and learn about Czech history, architecture and art. Not to worry, there’s an elevator at this stop!

Guards & Signs

When you walk up the cobbled streets to greet our president and see his official residence, you’ll want to pay close attention. The houses not only have numbers but also special symbols – back in the day, that’s how they labeled houses. Whose home was marked by three violins? Take a wild guess and then ask your guide if you’re wildly correct.

From the Prague castle grounds, visit the Cathedral, Old Royal Palace, St. George’s Basilica, and Golden Lane (look out for #22, where Kafka used to live) and Daliborka Tower. Don’t miss out on taking pictures with the castle guards. Despite their unwavering stance, they love the attention…trust us!
